The company was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, vide Incorporation Certificate No.20-5489, dated 01-12-1981, with Registrar of Companies, (U.P.), Kanpur.

The company is presently being managed by Mr. S.K. Mishra (Ex-Major) with the help of vastly experienced team of technical and administrative executives.

The company is in the business of manufacturing and supplying Instrument Transformers up to 132 KV Class since 1983. The company has manufactured and supplied its products to almost all the Electricity Boards and utilities in the country. The company's name figures in the list of Registered / Approved Vendors of C.S.E.B., N.T.PC., MPPTCL, BBMB, BHPC, NHPC, OHPC, GGSSTP, distribution & transmission companies of UPPCL, power and development Department (J & K) and other organizations.

The company work's is located in Greater Noida on company's property measuring 3200 sq. meter., having a covered area of 15,000 ft. The place is very well connected with Delhi, Ghaziabad, and other regions.

Product Profile

Instrument Transformers

Transformer intended to supply to measuring instruments, meters, relays and other similar apparatus is called an instrument transformer. They are either - Current Transformers or Potential Transformers.

Current Transformer

Direct measurement of current in H.V. system is not possible because of the insulation problem of measuring instruments. It is also not possible to use current flowing through the system, directly for protection purpose due to its high value and high insulation problem. Therefore, CT is designed to be used for the following purposes:-

a) To reduce the line Current to a value suitable for supply to measuring instruments, relays, breakers, etc.
b) To isolate measuring instruments from high voltage side of installation
c) To protect measuring instruments against short circuit current
d) To sense the fault in Current and Operate relays in order to isolate the faulty part of the system.

Potential Transformer

Since it is difficult to measure high system voltage due to insulation problem of measuring instruments. The P.T. is designed for the measurement of High System Voltage by stepping it down to a value suitable for the measuring instrument. The P.T. can be used for:-

a) Metering: P.T. with single secondary winding
b) Protection: For this purpose an additional secondary winding is provided which is connected in open delta so that in the event of an earth fault on any of the phases, appropriate voltage is developed across open delta terminals which in turn actuates a tripping mechanism.
